What this site does
This site helps you start comparing auto insurance. You enter a ZIP code and answer one question, and we send you on to a partner comparison site where insurers' quotes are shown.
What we collect
- What you enter: your ZIP code and your answer to the question on the page. We do not ask for your name, phone number or email address on this site.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and how you arrived (for example the ad or link you clicked and its campaign parameters).
- Cookies and similar technology: we use the Meta pixel to measure our ads, and our own analytics to count visits and to record anonymised page interactions (such as taps and scrolling) so we can improve the page. Text you type into form fields is masked in those recordings.
How we use it
- To check whether quotes are available in your state and send you to a partner site.
- To measure and improve our advertising and this page.
- To prevent fraud and misuse.
Who we share it with
- Partner sites: when you continue to a partner, they receive the information needed to show your options, such as your ZIP code and a reference for your visit. Their own privacy policies apply from then on.
- Advertising platforms: Meta receives event information (for example that a visit or a click-through happened) to measure our ads.
- Service providers who host and run this site for us.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage ad preferences in your Meta account settings. You can also simply leave the site without entering anything.
